Insert "(f) A person applying for state public assistance under this chapter in a region of the state covered by both a regional public assistance program and the department, may obtain state public assistance from the organization designated by the department to serve the region or from the department." Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Morgan objected. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" Objection was heard. The Speaker stated that CSHB 98(HES) will be in third reading on the April 8, 2000, calendar.
